Our first attempt to make pancakes on our new griddle occurred on March 18, 2000, sometime after 9:00am.  We had a chef and pancake batter and plates and syrup and butter and juice.  A short time later, someone brought the new griddle.  The first flight went without a hitch (actually, part of the delay, was the 1 and 7/8 inch, hitch).  Our Chapter is now  well on our way to frying off the required forty hours.
